Bacteriostatic Water is sterile. It has a specific pH level and contains a specific amount of benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It comes in a specially formulated polyolefin vial to maintain its integrity and sterility. It has no adulterants that may damage/breakdown what you are reconstituting or cause a deep tissue infection when injected. It’s what you have to use for IM and subcutaneous injections and reconstituting peptides or growth hormone.
Normal water for injection will also work as a diluent for your growth and peptides. However, the injections are more painful. The active ingredient downgrades in normal water much faster than in BS water. Normal water for injection will keep your growth hormone or peptide active for only 24 hours. Bacteriostatic water will only start downgrading after 14 days. BS water is also much less painful to inject than water for injection.
Using Bacteriostatic Water
When spending money on growth hormone or peptides it makes sense to use bacteriostatic water with it to get the most bang for your buck than to use normal water for injection. In some countries like South Africa and some South American countries, BS water is just very hard to find .but Ciccone has been providing good quality BW making it more readily available. It is advisable that once mixed you keep the vial in the fridge but be sure not to freeze it. With many mixtures, you can end up using the same vial for a fair period of time, especially with things like peptides and Melanotan. Using BS water in these case are paramount so that your solutions don’t degrade, even when kept in the fridge. While not essential, it is also good practice to store your BS water in the fridge and use it from there.
