Superbol
- Oh my!
I have done quite a bit of research on this product now and I am going
to save you an enormous amount of hassle and condense some conclusions.
I say conclusion instead of facts because I have never come across such
contradictory information on a single piece of paper as the one written
by the guys making the stuff! Anyway, I am not going to bash the guys,
I am rather going to tell you what you probably need to know. I
have highlighted the key things if you are too lazy to read everything.
The listed active is 2a-17a-dymethel-etiocholan-3-1-17b-ol and this substance
is most definitely a steroid. The product review say it is not a steroid
and in the very next line it say its not a hormone precursor, the very
next line say it is modified to be somewhere between Anadrol and Masteron.
Masteron, being the give away that the info was compiled in the US.
Expect the sales pitch to be that this product is a steroid
alternative that works as well but does not have the side effects. I don’t
have to tell you that that is bullshit. This means that I believe the
product works but it has similar side effects to steroids – for
all practical purposes it is one.
Chemically they are loop-holing the product but is already ban everywhere
and will be banned here is SA in the next few months.
Its chemical structure is made from a modified Anadrol (Oxymethlone –
the most powerful and also the most toxic oral steroid around) so one
can expect it to be powerful. Although it is not pitched as a hormone
precursor, it does have similar metabolic pathways.
The product review states no influence on the bodies own hormone production,
but a few lines later PCT is mandatory and shorter cycles are recommended.
In fact the guys make a very nice “natural” PTC product.
So, expect a feedback on your hormone system and use a PCT to help reduce
losses, expect less and less growth as you do more and more cycles and
plan decent breaks in between cycles.
Even though the guys pitch no side effects, the fact that it has strong
links to DHT, constant reference to blood work and the hinting of the
typical side effects means you can expect some. Many users report acne
at higher doses. The paperwork suggest a very low androgenic component
but the fact is that both Anadrol and Masteron are highly androgenic,
this component is mostly the reason for related side effects like acne.
The compound has got definitive androgenic properties and
the related side effects are to be expected.
Some more moderate and objective information point toward the substance
being very similar to Winstrol, but it does seem to me that the gains
are better with very little water retention. I would say it is somewhere
between Winstrol and Dianabol. I am of the opinion that people
who are getting very little gains out of Dianabol will probably get better
gains out of Superbol if you are using a single substance.
The review makes a point of strengthening connective tissue and this is
absolute rubbish. There is no steroid or steroid derivative that aids
connective tissue, unlike GH. In fact you can expect dry joint
similar to Winstrol as very little joint lubrication will take place,
as is the case with Anadrol, in addition the associated risk of joint,
tendon and ligament injury are as prevalent as with any steroid.
Many and I mean many of the research conclusions come from people taking
Superbol alone, and they are not experience steroid users. This is not
a bad thing; it means that one can expect results from the sole use of
the product. There is however some good feedback from people that are
using it in their steroid stacks and there are a few recommended stacks.
Superbol can be successfully used with other steroids.
Conclusion: Superbol is an innovative chemical derived from
a steroids structure. It has similar effct to steroids and has similar
side effects. Your approach should be exactly the same as your approach
and management of any other steroid. It is banned by all sport federations,
it is not a steroid alternative, it is rather a very nice steroid to use
and it certainly looks like it will find a place in the steroid toolbox.
