The substance tamoxifen is not an anabolic steroid, but is used in conjunction with high androgenic steroids. High androgenic steroids causes aromatizing or conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Tamoxifen does not stop the conversion but blocks the estrogen receptors. It also aids in the reduction of water retention and has a positive effect on the bodies own testosterone production.User's report an increase in muscle hardness. Proviron is used for the same effct but works in a different way.
It must be noted that the action of Tamoxifen can reduce the effect of some steroids.
